Nestled in the serene hills of Lanchares, El Pontón de Lanchares was the perfect romantic escape for me and my partner. The cozy holiday home, complete with a lovely fireplace and a garden view, felt like a slice of paradise, especially with free bikes available for exploring the stunning surroundings. We spent our days cycling through the picturesque landscape and enjoyed evening barbecues in the garden – a good touch for anyone who shares my love for nature and outdoor dining! The staff were friendly and always available to provide helpful information, making our stay even more enjoyable. With five bathrooms to choose from, we certainly had our space, and the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a day of adventure. While it's a bit of a journey from Santander, I found the tranquil atmosphere more than worth the travel. If you’re looking for a unique getaway infused with the beauty of rural Spain, this is the place for you!
